The Latin Legacy dance group began in 1999, under the direction of current director Aura Amador's mother. As a single parent, she struggled with cultural and economic barriers, and began the group as a way to incorporate a community cultural activity for girls of all ages, as well as to preserve Latin culture and traditions through dance.
Now directing and performing ETHNIC CREATIVE LATINO DANCING as well as ZUMBA ® FITNESS INSTRUCTION, Aura continues to build on her mother's vision. Latin Legacy continues to proudly perform at Alberta festivals and events, and we are thrilled to host their performances and mini tutorials at the Edmonton Woman's Show! Come see their vibrant and energetic dance, and try out this beautiful art form for yourself!
The wonderful team from Living Sounds Hearing Centre is joining us to spread the word about the importance of listening to what your ears are telling you!
Hearing loss is a problem plaguing so many people today, and not just "old people". Did you know that one in five people over the age of 12 experience hearing loss severe enough to hinder communication? That's a lot of smiling and nodding-a common response from people who are experiencing hearing difficulties.
Stop by the Living Sounds booth for a FREE Hearing Exam, and more great information about hearing loss. Learn how supporting your hearing can dramatically increase your quality of life!
